SENIOR PASTOR
ROCK OF THE NATIONS CHURCH, GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA
Rock of the Nations Church in the Greater Los Angeles area is prayerfully seeking a visionary, spirit filled Senior Pastor to lead and shepherd the multigenerational, multi linguistic, vibrant congregation for the next season of growth and kingdom impact. We are a vibrant and growing Pentecostal church located in Norwalk CA and are predominantly a Malayalee (Malayalam-speaking) church family. Our congregation also includes English, and Hindi speaking adults, along with children and young adults.
The pastoral candidate shall be a member in good standing with the General Body of the Church, reflecting the Biblical leadership qualities found in 1 Timothy 3:2-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:2-3.
The pastor shall preach sound Biblically aligned doctrinal messages with clarity and conviction, provide spiritual oversight and compassionate pastoral care, cast vision and lead the church with wisdom and integrity; strengthen discipleship, youth and missions; and shall also foster unity across cultures and generations
Candidates must have completed formal education (min Bachelors degree) in Biblical theology from an accredited educational institution and should be a graduate from an accredited Bible College.
Prefer an ordained minister in good standing with a recognized Pentecostal church; fluent and able to speak in at least two of the three languages – Malayalam, English or Hindi.
The Senior Pastor should be a minimum of 35 years of age, married, and willing to serve the church as a family. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience.
As our congregation continues to experience consistent growth, the leader must be primed and ready to continue this expansion by relating to a wide variety of people and ages, helping them encounter the saving grace of our Heavenly Father.
Has a desire to disciple our congregation toward depth and service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by living a Bible-based culture led by the power of the Holy Spirit.
